Employee Safety:   The company enforces the use of personal protective gear, such as gloves, goggles, overalls, safety shoes and also respiratory masks wherever necessary. Clean, laundered overalls are provided to workers daily. Employees have to take daily baths after work. Bathing facilities with fresh towels and soaps are provided. A well-equipped factory clinic is manned by a qualified nurse and stocked with adequate quantities of anectodes. Employees are regularly monitored for chemical exposure and a record of each employee is maintained. The company follows international guideliess on industrial hygiene and maximum allowable limits to chemical exposure in the work environment.

In the manufacturing process extensive use of highly flammable and hazardous substances and therefore, the protection of both personal and the environment is of prime importance. To this end the plant has been fitted with the highest specification safety protection including intrinsically safe electrical equipment, reversible air-jet filters, air scrubber full effluent/waste handling and spillage containment across the site. Automatic filling and capping machines have installed to eliminate worker exposure to chemicals. Process monitoring, safety audit and Hazard Opaerational Reviews (HAZOP) are integrated with the safety and environmental protection policies and systems at the factory. The rain water that falls within the plant premises is collected in a special basin, monitored and treated if necessary before discharge to industrial sewage.
